Untitled--Excerpt OneWhen she awoke, Ara found herself lying on a cool, smooth surface. She lifted herself up slightly, and saw that she was on white linoleum. Beside her, Christian lay on his back, unconscious. Around her were four white, windowless walls, lit by fluorescent lights.
